Pre-K 3 had a wonderful visit from the Rotary Club! They are amazing and brought us yummy snacks for those "oops" days when someone forgets! We really enjoyed our chips, salsa, and nacho cheese!








1st graders working together to answer questions on a book





Students in Mrs. Kolasa's class worked together to build with blocks in a getting to know each other activity. They shared about themselves as they added each block to the middle of the rug.


Students in Mrs. McDowell's 4th grade class are learning about how light can affect their pupils.




Fourth graders got to know each other during their first day of reading intervention by taking pictures of classmates who shared the same traits as themselves.


Students in Mrs. Sullivan's class have been learning about what it means to show a great heart figuratively and literally. Then, they picked an adult at SES who they think has a great heart, figuratively and wrote about why. ❤️

Mrs. Singer's students are working on understanding how we can have great hearts, literally. They took what they read and put it into action by listening to each other's heartbeats!

3rd graders think of our custodians here at Showell as kindness heroes. They realize how dedicated those men and women are and honored them with posters.
