Did you know that not wearing appropriate footwear for PE class can lead to increased injuries? Lack of support and increased risk of slipping is a concern to Physical Education teachers, when students wear things like crocs, slippers, flip flops, or rain boots for PE class. WCPS is grateful to Emily Schramm and the staff at Uptown Cheapskate and Kid to Kid for their generous donations to our "SNEAKERS for SAFETY" initiative. Each WCPS school will have a donation box for gently used sneakers. If you have sneakers you are interested in donating, please drop them off at your nearest WCPS school. When school starts, each school will also receive a bottle of disinfectant and a pack of new socks.

WCPS Summer Academy is thrilled to be partnering with the Worcester County Arts Council for Arts camp. Each elementary school gets one full day of arts with local artists. Painting, sculpture and music! Tomorrow, MSDE will be visiting to see the collaboration!
