We are incredibly proud to announce that several of our outstanding choral and band students have been selected for the Maryland All-State Ensembles!
Earning a spot in All-State is one of the highest honors a music student can achieve, and it reflects hard work, dedication, countless hours of practice, and a true passion for music. Their talent represents not only their own commitment, but also the support of their teachers, families, and school communities. Please join us in celebrating these exceptional young musicians!
While we can’t wait to see them shine as they represent our district on the All-State stage, take a moment to join us in celebrating these exceptional young musicians by dropping a heart or comment of congratulations below. #WeAreWorcester #ArtsAreAliveInWorcester

The Worcester County Youth Council spread some serious holiday cheer yesterday as members shopped for gifts and essentials for their adopted family this season.
These student leaders put compassion into action—showing what it truly means to serve others and give back to our community. We are so proud of their kindness, teamwork, and commitment to making the holidays brighter for a local family in need. #WeAreWorcester #WCYC #YouthInAction #MakingADifference

A wonderful visit to Showell Elementary! Our young artists and musicians are doing incredible things. In music, students were learning notation with finger castanets, exploring form through movement and scarves, and even celebrating the season with music from The Nutcracker. In art, classrooms were bursting with creativity—watercolor fall leaves and stunning pieces inspired by Yayoi Kusama and Georgia O’Keeffe. #WeAreWorcester #ArtsAliveInWorcester
