6th grade students from BIS took a field trip to Wor-Wic Community College today. They toured the campus, learned about all the programs of study, participated in a financial literacy activity, and got to eat lunch in the cafe like a real college student. #Jr. Seahawks on the Move

WCPS Families, to stem any confusion, please be aware that school is in session tomorrow, April 23. In August 2023, the Board of Education adopted a calendar revision moving the Countywide PD Day from April 23, to May 14, to align with the Presidential Primary election date. As this change occurred prior to the start of the school year, all of our countywide calendars have accurately reflected this information since that time.

What a wonderful morning to present a very deserving BIS fifth grader with a Challenge Coin! At his young age, he has advocated for the rights of amputees like himself at the State level. A remarkable student, I can’t wait to see him throw out the first pitch at an upcoming O’s game as well! -LT #WeAreWorcester #WorcesterProud
