Happy School Counseling Week!
We simply could not operate without the amazing work of our school counselors and guidance staff. They support students, establish meaningful relationships with families, provide social, emotional, and academic counseling, schedule, advise, monitor, cheer, listen, commiserate, and advocate! Thank you all for all that you do! 💙🖤🤍

A Fab Four
That’s right! These four passed the ASK (Assessment of Skills and Knowledge) Fundamental Business Concept exam, which is now the Industry Recognized Credential for Business Completors in Worcester County Public Schools MD. Additionally, a big shout out to Andrew Tcheremissine for earning the top score in county history.

Another proud moment for us as we partner with
Coastal Hospice Thrift Shop. These are our #AfterSchoolAcademy students sorting, organizing, cleaning, fixing, and helping in any way they can. Several of these students have already completed their required service hours and still choose to continue their volunteerism. Many thanks to Mrs. Maggie Berke for setting up this wonderful #CommunityPartnership.

Sat, January 27th:
Come out for a day of high school basketball and to retire the jersey of one of our Hometown Hero’s who has represented the game well as a player from high school to the professional level. Andre Foreman is now a prominent coach who will be bringing his girls team to compete against our Stephen Decatur Varsity girls.
This will be a great day of basketball as our county rivals from Snow Hill will be in the building, both JV and Varsity boys will be playing on this day.

The National English Honor Society cordially invites community members to join us for a panel discussion that celebrates African American representation in education. Please contact Dj Thompson or Kia Terlizzi for more information at (410)632-2880.
