Worcester County Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run  at OCES

The Worcester County Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics was held on Monday, June 5th. The event engages law enforcement agencies to promote acceptance and inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities, starting within their own communities. Participants included the Ocean City Police Department, Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack, the Ocean City Fire Department, and local teachers, students, and athletes. The run started at the boardwalk and continued to Ocean City Elementary, where OCES students, faculty and staff cheered on the runners.
