Grant Manager Named 40 Under 40 Young Leader in Philanthropy

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore has announced WCPS Grant Manager, Dr. Brian Cook, as one of its 40 Under 40 in Philanthropy awardees. These young leaders give of time, talent, or treasure to charitable causes while inspiring others to create a significant difference on the Lower Eastern Shore.

“As younger generations become more involved in giving back to the Lower Shore it is important to recognize their philanthropic spirit,” says CFES President Erica Joseph. “We congratulate the honorees and hope that by highlighting their contributions to the community others are encouraged to do the same.”

To qualify, honorees must have been under the age of 40 at some point during 2024 and should have reached their 21st birthday prior to the nomination deadline.
