Dual Enrollment Program

Program Overview

Worcester County Public Schools is proud to offer dual enrollment courses in partnership with Salisbury University (SU), University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), and Wor-Wic Community College (WWCC). Most courses are offered on the college/university campus; however, certain courses may be taught on WCPS campuses by WCPS faculty.

The Dual Enrollment Program allows high school students to earn college credit while still in high school and

  • Expands the curriculum options available to students in area high schools;

  • Provides college-level courses for students who meet eligibility requirements;

  • Provides an opportunity for high school students to earn college credit for transfer to other colleges and Universities;

  • Prepares students for entry into employment upon completion of the high school program.

Program Deadline Reminders

Students must apply for the Dual Enrollment Program during the scheduling process in the spring semester prior to the school year in which they plan to take Dual Enrollment courses.

All deadlines are strictly enforced.
