Citizens Addressing the Board
The Board of Education works for the citizens of Worcester County in providing the best education possible for every student. Interested persons are encouraged to attend all public meetings.
At each meeting, there is a Public Participation (Individuals/Delegations) section listed on the agenda. This is the appropriate time for persons to briefly address the Board on matters that are not on the agenda. (Time limit: 1 - 2 minutes.) Guidelines for public participation are outlined below.
All individuals who sign up to address the Worcester County Board of Education may do so for one to two minutes regarding information, commendations, or concerns, which may need future Board attention. Concerns that are specific to an individual will not be discussed in open session and should be directed to appropriate district personnel for investigation. When called to address the Board, speakers must state your name and address for the record.
