The C.A.R.E. After-School Academy at SHES is to provide students with a variety of meaningful academic, enrichment, creative arts, character education, and technology activities to enhance their overall learning.  With the assistance and support of SHES staff, and our community partnerships, SHES offers students with a unique learning experience in a safe environment. 

Academic and Enrichment Instruction
Students in grades second and third have the opportunity to participate in after school academic end enrichment programs. These groups focus on continuing their academic school day to prepare students in Maryland Career and College Readiness goals with supplemental and integrated lessons.
