Snow Hill Middle Receives DAR Donation

The General Levin Winder Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) recently donated $200 to Snow Hill Middle School Social Studies teacher Sean Wilson for National History Day projects. Wilson noted that students participating in the National History Day competition become engaged and excited about history, but often lack the resources for supplies. Chaired by Janet Simpson, the chapter’s Community Classroom committee focuses on providing additional support to teachers and children in classrooms by adopting a classroom or school to provide time and/or financial support.
