Good evening, families.

First, I owe you all an apology regarding our connectivity. When I shared my message with you on Monday, we truly believed we had repaired the hardware issue on our end, and our internet was fully functional throughout that evening and yesterday. However, as you may have experienced today, beginning in late morning, we started receiving reports of sporadic outages across our schools.

Our network provider, networkMaryland, soon after informed us that while the repair we made was necessary, the issue of flooding our firewall has continued on their end. NetworkMaryland has escalated this issue within their internal support team, and we are currently waiting on their repair.

We apologize for any disturbances to your child’s learning over these past days. We know that this has been challenging for your family as well as for our staff, but we truly appreciate your understanding, and I want to assure you that we are working around the clock and dedicating all of our resources to fixing this problem.

Should these issues persist into tomorrow, we promise we will continue to communicate with you as we work together to resolve this issue.
